Robert (Bob) L. Corley, C.R., Owner of Rytech of Long Island and Connecticut Coast, received his Certified Restorer status in 1991 (#073) by the National Institute of Fire Restoration, today called The Restoration Industry Association (RIA). At this time, the C.R. was recognized as the equivalent to a Ph.D. degree within the restoration profession.
Additionally, Bob's firm is certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Other training includes Subrogation I.
Prior to owning Rytech, Bob has been involved in the restoration industry his entire career spending 22 years as a consultant with fire and water catastrophes and 30 years as a structural and contents restoration contractor.
Throughout his life, Bob has made helping people the top priority; whether it is working with his restoration company or as a NYS certified firefighter. Bob performed restoration throughout NYC from the World Trade Center Attacks in 2001, was elected by the public in Suffolk County as Fire Commissioner from 1996-2006 and became Fire Chief of the volunteer fire department in Suffolk County in 2012 and holds this position today.
He received recognition from the Long Island Newspaper for Doing the "Dirty Work" and as a recognized restoration contractor, who you want to turn to when disaster strikes. In 2011, Bob received the prestigious Franchise of the Year Award by Rytech.
